Hi! My name is Noreen Boyce. I am a married mother of four, three boys and one daughter aged 21, 19, 15 and 13. We relocated to the U.S. last year but my two oldest boys stayed in Ireland as they are in University (heart-wrenching!).
We live in Newton, Massachusetts, a city only six miles from Boston.
The move here was both stressful and exciting all rolled in to one.....a bit like being on a rollercoaster! I did so much surfing of the net before I left - there are a lot of websites that help people to relocate to the United States, but I still found that not every aspect was covered, especially if you are a mother. I hope this blog can help make the transition across the Pond easier for you!

Hi! I'm Jennifer O'Shea (everyone calls me Jenny..).  I am a married Mum of 2 young Children, a boy aged 10 and a girl aged 4.
We moved to Madison in New Jersey last Sept so  we are here  a year now.
Madison is in Northern New Jersey,  and just 45 Min from the big Apple..

Hi! My name is Elaine Desmond, I am a  married mother of three children who relocated to Boston in January 2012, on a three year international secondment.  We chose to live in Hopkinton, MA (home of the Boston marathon start line),  because of the acknowledged excellent school system for our three young children ages 8, 5 and 3.  
We were fortunate enough to have a relocation agent help with finding a home, then we had schools, medical record transitions, work permits for partners and the list goes on.  We hope that this  blog will give you all the information you need to help with your move especially for those who have to do this with no relocation agency...
